While account opening is free for some companies, certain businesses have higher risks and we need to put extra checks and controls in place. If customer falls into this higher-risk category, an account opening fee will be applied. In such case the customer is informed about applicable account opening fees in advance and will have a right to decide whether to proceed with the application or opt out.
